This policy explains what information the NexGen Hosting client portal at https://hosting.nexgenitsolutions.net collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. "NexGen", "we", and "us" mean NexGen IT Solutions, a business based in Michigan.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your business name, the names and email addresses of the people on your account, and their roles.
• Sign-in information: a one-time sign-in code when you first sign in, and a password that we store only in hashed (not readable) form. We record sign-in dates and security events.
• Website information: the content, files, logos, and details you submit for your website, and the domains and hosting details of the sites we host for you.
• Billing information: your plan, invoices, payment history, and charges. This comes from, and is kept in sync with, our QuickBooks Online account.
• Payment card reference: if you save a card, we store only the brand, last four digits, expiration date, and a reference to the card in Intuit's secure wallet. We never receive or store your full card number or security code. Card details go directly from your browser to Intuit QuickBooks Payments.
• Authorization records: when you give an autopay or out-of-plan charge authorization, we record the wording you agreed to, the date and time, and your IP address, so that we can show what you approved.
• Support requests: what you send us through the support form, including any files you attach.
• Reports data: results of SEO audits and speed tests of your website, and, if you give us access, traffic statistics for your website from Google Analytics.

2. How we use information

We use information to run the Service: to sign you in and keep your account secure, to build, host, and support your website, to issue invoices and take payments you authorize, to send account, billing, and security emails, to produce your reports, and to answer support requests. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. QuickBooks and Intuit

NexGen's own QuickBooks Online company is connected to the Service. The Service uses that connection to create and read customers and invoices, to record payments, and to save and charge cards through QuickBooks Payments, for your account only. We use Intuit's data only to provide billing and payment features to you. NexGen's access tokens are stored encrypted. If the connection is removed, our access ends immediately.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the Service, and only what each one needs:

• Intuit (QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Payments) for invoices and payments.
• Microsoft 365 for sending email from the Service.
• Google (PageSpeed Insights and Google Analytics) for speed tests and traffic reports about your website.
• Our hosting provider and server, where the Service runs.

We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NexGen, our customers, or others.

5. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access limited to the people who need it, encrypted storage of integration tokens, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Tell us right away if you suspect a problem with your account.

6. Retention

We keep your information while you are a customer and for as long afterward as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations and to resolve disputes. Backups are kept for a limited time and then deleted.

7. Your choices

• You can remove your saved card, and turn autopay on or off, on your Billing page.
• You can ask us to correct your information, or to delete information we are not required to keep, by emailing support@nexgenitsolutions.net.

8. Cookies

The Service uses one cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forgery. It expires when your session ends. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you about significant changes in the Service or by email.
